Leaves crunch under my feet, a beautiful breeze flowing through the trees and I think I’ll make some peppermint tea. The air is crisp and cool, perfect enough to feel at ease. Autumn nostalgia feels like coming home to family, embraced by the comfort within the walls of my childhood home. Gathered around the table for Thanksgiving, we honor what family means to us every year during this lovely season. The leaves change, and the colors serve as a reminder that there’s still so much beauty that exists in change. Fall time reminds me that we can wash away our past and grow anew into something beautiful. Leaves wilt, change, fall, and grow again. Perhaps that’s why fall is my favorite season—because I am a witness to what it looks like to come back anew.
Crunchy leaves, pretty trees, and the memories of Halloween in our early teens. Spooky movies and sweet treats, October fills me with the noise that comforts me. Autumn represents serenity for me. The season brings a sense of peace and calm, symbolizing evolution and the beauty in change. It reminds us that the changes we experience in life are inevitable. Its beauty lies not only in its vibrant colors but also in its quiet moments of reflection. It’s in these moments that I find peace, knowing that every change, every experience, is part of a larger journey. I think of fall and play Fleetwood Mac in my headphones, and reflect on what this season used to bring me. I wish for it to stay awhile. The fall time allows me to just breathe.
